It’s been a busy week but I am delighted to have got the second issue of iMake Magazine finished. I couldn’t have managed it without my wonderful contributors, proofreader and test knitter. They have been amazing. I’ll include links to where you can purchase your copy of issue 2 at the end of this post.
In the magazine I included instructions for readers to get their hands on a free copy of my Mini Christmas Sweater pattern (above). I am also selling the pattern on Ravelry and Craftsy (links below) and all proceeds until the end of this year will be going to my marathon charity, Anthony Nolan. So even if you buy the magazine and have access to a free copy, you might feel you want to purchase a copy of the pattern anyway to support my fundraising (if you do this, thank you!)
In other pattern news, my Basic Beanie hat pattern (pictured above) is being test knitted at the moment by my lovely test knitter Ceri in the UK. I am also knitting a second beanie and a wonderful hand-dyed yarn by Natalie Fergie, aka The Yarn Yard. It was a yarn from the SSS yarn club and it’s knitting up beautifully. It’s 100% BFL and the colour is a stunning mixture of greys and pinks. In the photo below it looks quite brown, I cannot seem to take a photo that shows the colour correctly.
That’s about it from me for now, here are those links I promised, I hope you’ll consider buying the magazine:
